Associate Research Scientist
Full-time or Co-op; Boston, MA
Position description
The Associate Research Scientist will play key roles in assay development and supporting technology translation from R&D to clinical trials. The candidate should have a strong background in biochemistry and/or bioengineering, with hands-on laboratory experience and expertise in assay development. Experience in startup research environments and cross-disciplinary teams preferred.
Requirements/ Qualification

B.S. or M.S. degree in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biomedical Engineering or related fields

At least 2 years of research laboratory experience

Ability to work with minimal technical supervision and perform operational tasks independently

Experience with project and/or laboratory management preferred
Responsibilities
-
Support R&D projects for in vitro assay development

Execute and document experiments, and communicate results with the scientific/engineering/data team

Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and perform process risk assessment during development lifecycle

Work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced lab environment
